Hello, all! I am starting to learn this language, and something is confusing me:

Dofa means he, she, it, and they.
Ok. So then, why is his/hers and theirs split into two groups, Refa and resi? Shouldn't refa encompass his, hers and theirs? It seems unnecessary. Of course, I can't take this up with Mr. Sutre himself, but I thought I'd try for an explanation here. I've studied French for about 10 years, so for many things, I understand where he's getting a good portion of his ideas from, but this one threw my brain for a bit of a loop.
